Body image work that doesn't ask you to love yourself harder.

Therapy for the body you actually live in.

Your body doesn't have to be a battlefield.

Maybe you've spent years trying to like your body and the work keeps moving the goalpost. Or you've been in body positive spaces that somehow made you feel worse, not better. You may be avoiding mirrors, photos, or intimacy because how you look gets in the way of how you want to be present. Or you're constantly monitoring, measuring, comparing, even when you know it isn't helping. Perhaps you're tired of doing all the inner work and still feeling like your body is something to manage, not somewhere you live.

Whatever it is, you're starting to feel the cost in every corner of your life:

  • Avoiding intimacy, sex, or being seen by partners because of how your body feels to you

  • Constantly running mental commentary on what your body is doing, looking like, or eating

  • Dressing for shame instead of comfort or expression

  • Disconnecting from your body during sex, exercise, or moments you used to enjoy

  • Carrying private comparisons that no one knows about but that run all day

  • Feeling like body positivity culture handed you another thing to perform

Body image therapy can help.

It may feel impossible now, but you can move through your day without constant body monitoring. You can be in your body during sex, intimacy, and everyday life without disconnecting to escape it. You can have a relationship with your body that isn't built on shame, performance, or the promise of someday changing it. I can help you get there.

Body image therapy helps you do three things:

  • Loosen the constant body monitoring that's been running in the background for years, so you have your attention and energy back for the rest of your life

  • Reclaim your body as a place you live, not a project to fix, an opponent to fight, or a problem to solve

  • Build presence during sex, intimacy, and connection so you can actually be in your body instead of watching it from outside

I tailor each step to your specific history and life. My approach to body image therapy comes from clinical training in trauma informed care, EFT, IFS, and sex therapy, paired with years of work with clients whose bodies have been pathologized, sexualized, or erased: fat bodies, queer bodies, trans bodies, neurodivergent bodies, kinky bodies. You don't have to perform body positivity. You don't have to want to love your body. We start from where you actually are.

You don't need to love your body to stop fighting it.

Less shame. Less monitoring. More you. I can help you find the way.
